In the Item Editor, you will find the critical tools that as a retailer, you need to stay ahead in today's market.

The Item File Editor feature is one of the most important features in the J3 Point of Sale System and has been designed for easy use. With the Item File Editor, you have total control of your inventory items with the J3 Item Editor by maintaining gross margins, adding new UPC codes for an item (we support the new 13 digit format), setting defaults such as printing of bin tags or price tags, what time of the year you stock your inventory and setting order and inventory information. The Item File Editor stores sale prices for the specific date ranges. You can copy or add a new item the Item File quickly and easily.

Item information is displayed along with a picture of the product.

Each Item can have a variety of flags set, that include the sales tax status, is the item discountable, a primary and secondary set of order points and quantities, sell by unit of measure or liquid measure, lock the margin, description, or retail, turn on Auto Order, show multiple locations, and many more...

Order Information is easily managed in the J3 Item Editor.

Unlimited UPC's or cheat codes can be attached to items (SKU's).

Other Editors Menu features include:

• Kit Editor - Allows you to assign multiple item to a single SKU number and it automatically adjust individual item counts at time of sale.
• Discount Editor - Allows you to assign discounts to customers by item, quantity, class, or certain time limits
